Dear Friends, Family, and Patients,
Often I am asked if I am going to retire soon. I am not retiring, but I do have exciting news to share with you. After being the owner of McGinty Dental Group for 30 years, I am happy to announce that I have transferred ownership to a dear friend and colleague, Dr. Corbin Popp. Many years ago, I met Dr. Popp while taking continuing education courses and we instantly had a connection as our beliefs in dentistry and the effects on the whole body are very similar. Our paths continued to cross as we pursued our studies. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work beside Dr. Popp.
To all of you, no words can express my gratitude for the trust and faith you had in me and my wonderful team. I wouldn’t have had success and accomplishments without each and every one of you. The ownership transition is effective as of today, Tuesday, January 10th. I will be working alongside Dr. Popp for the next six months and then plan to cut back to two days per week. This time will allow for the opportunity to see most of you along with introducing you to Dr. Popp. You will find that he is an extraordinary dentist, and I am confident you will be pleased with his biological approach to dentistry, compassion, professionalism, and the excellent care you will receive from him.
More good news as the entire team will remain with Jennifer still leading the way as office manager and Liberty still the friendly face greeting you as you arrive for your appointment. Tanuel, our southern gal, will assist in your scheduling of restorative appointments. Kimberly, Soumaly and Julie will still give you the same great dental hygiene care. Crystal, Jessica, Natalie and Devin will continue assisting both myself and Dr. Popp, ensuring your appointments are comfortable. I would not have the success without my team and all you wonderful patients. I am forever grateful.
Eileen A. McGinty, D.D.S.
Greetings Friends and Patients of Dr. Eileen McGinty,
For many years I have been working as an independent contract dentist in the Denver area. Interestingly, I’ve had a hint of intuition telling me that I would one day work with Dr. McGinty. Over the years we have had many interactions at continued education trips always connecting well. We’ve crossed paths from Switzerland to Costa Rica and we have shared some wonderful opportunities in dental education. She has always been front row center and certainly has a similar philosophy to mine. Now the universe has finally connected us as Dr. McGinty plans to wind down her successful career and allow me, the honor of carrying on the torch alongside her excellent staff.
My background is a little different than most. I grew up in Nebraska, my father also a Dentist. I was involved in many sports, dance, and even equestrian. Pursuing a career in Medicine, I went to the University of Nebraska gaining degrees in biochemistry, math, and physics. I postponed my entry into medical school accepting a Fulbright Scholarship to Germany. However, during my application, I rekindled a love of dance and partnering, which completely took over my focus. For 10 years I danced, from The Sacramento Ballet to shows on Broadway and even America's Got Talent. I was blessed to meet and dance with my wife most of my career. Soon after the arrival of my twin daughters, I made a conscious decision to follow in my father’s footsteps and pursue dentistry. I graduated from the Arizona School of Dental and Oral Health and completed a surgical residency at the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz. Dentistry is the perfect mix of Arts and Sciences. Through my eyes, dentists are performers, and the office is a production.
In 2014, I was introduced to biological dentistry. Immediately I recognized the critical importance connecting the mouth with the whole body. It has been my singular focus to master the art and science of biological dentistry. Much of my continued education has been garnered through the Swiss BioHealth clinic, with hands-on training under the guidance of Dr. Ulrich Volz. This concept focuses on the removal of all interference fields in the jaw which play a role in the development of chronic disease. In 2021, I became the first U.S. dentist to complete the Swiss program: “Biological Specialist in Biological Dentistry and Ceramic Implantology." Furthermore, I have studied extensively the restorative art of Bioesthetics (OBI) to rejuvenate or ‘rebuild’ worn or missing teeth in an optimal harmonious jaw position. I enjoy offering my patients personalized dental care that is mindful of both biological and bioesthetic-functional elements.
I look forward to meeting you, learning from you, and helping you achieve your best health.
Dr. Corbin Popp
